Inside the Garden Center

Tucked under two stately old live oak trees and surrounded by beautiful flowers and one gorgeous Japanese maple, the entrance to the Wayside Gardens' Gardening Center just begins to allude to the treasures inside. Once inside the showroom, you'll find 1350 square feet of garden accessories, books, seeds, bulbs, interesting container plants, and a few of the most helpful and informed associates who are always kind and full of answers.

The Greenhouse and Beyond

Just outside, under the pergola, the real gardening adventure begins with plants ranging from 15 varieties of succulents to the truly unique Salix Hakuro Nishiki. Most of our landscaping varieties can be found in this area, from privacy screens and hedges to the most intriguing ornamentals. There is also a 10,000 square foot greenhouse that’s just brimming with lush green selections, and a 900 sq. foot shade arbor that highlights our pre-planted containers for your patio or courtyard.

If you should happen to get a little winded perusing the gardens just look for the huge Magnolia grandiflora. In the shade, you’ll find cozy park benches next to our herb garden. Our gardens are the perfect place for a picnic or some truly unique and beautiful family photos.
